1. Is Gelan a Pipe and Tube Manufacturer, Supplier or EPC Support Provider?
Gelan is not a pipe or tube manufacturer. We are a process equipment manufacturer and EPC support partner that sources pipes and tubes through qualified manufacturing partners in China. In addition to supplying them for our own equipment projects, we can also provide project-based pipe and tube sourcing for customers purchasing these materials separately.
2. What Information Should I Provide for a Quotation?
To receive an accurate quotation, please provide the following information where available:

- Applicable standard or specification
- Outside diameter or nominal pipe size
- Wall thickness or schedule

3. Can Bending, Finning, Machining or Other Secondary Processing Be Provided?
Yes. Depending on the material, dimensions and applicable specification, Gelan can coordinate U-bending, finning, cutting, machining, end preparation, heat treatment, pickling, passivation and other secondary processing. Please specify all processing and inspection requirements before quotation, as they may affect material selection, manufacturing procedures, testing, cost and lead time.
4. Can Original Mill Certificates Be Supplied?
Yes. Original mill-issued material test certificates can be supplied when specified in the purchase requirements. The required certificate type, material traceability and any additional inspection documents should be confirmed before order placement.
5. How Are Pipe Ends and Finished Surfaces Protected During Shipment?
Protection is selected according to the material, product form, surface condition and shipping method. It may include plastic end caps, waterproof wrapping, protective film, rust-preventive treatment, wooden cases, reinforced bundles or other project-specific packaging.
6. How Are Shortages, Transit Damage or Quality Claims Handled After Delivery?
If a shortage, transit damage or quality issue is identified, the customer should notify Gelan within the agreed claim period and provide supporting evidence, such as photographs, packing details, inspection records and material identification. Gelan will review the issue with the relevant manufacturer, inspection party and logistics provider, and arrange an agreed resolution according to the contract terms.
