Weld Neck Flanges (WN)

- Pressure Ratings: PN10 and PN16; ASME Class 150 and Class 300.

Slip-On Flanges (SO)
- Types: Hubbed and Solid Slip-On Flanges.
- Size Range: DN15–DN1500 (NPS 1/2″–60″).
- Standards: ASME B16.5, ISO 7005-1, DIN 86036 and EEMUA 145.
- Pressure Ratings: PN10, 16 Bar, 20 Bar, ASME Class 150 and Class 300.

Socket Weld Flanges (SW)
- Size Range: DN15–DN100 (NPS 1/2″–4″).
- Standards: ASME B16.5.
- Pressure Ratings: CASME Class 150 and Class 300.
- Grades: CuNi 90/10 and CuNi 70/30.
- Typical Applications: Small-bore drain, vent, sampling, instrument and auxiliary piping connections on Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Process Tanks and Modular Process Skids.
Blind Flanges (BL)
- Size Range: DN15–DN1500 (NPS 1/2″–60″).
- Standards: ASME B16.5 and ISO 7005-1.

- Typical Applications: Removable CuNi seawater and cooling-water piping connections, heat-exchanger tube-side connections and piping joints requiring frequent dismantling.
Composite Flanges
- Types: Composite Weld Neck, Composite Slip-On and Composite Blind Flanges.
- Size Range: Up to DN900 (NPS 36″).
- Standards: ASME B16.5, DIN 86036, DIN 86037 and EEMUA 145.
- Pressure Ratings: 10 Bar, 16 Bar, 20 Bar, PN10, ASME Class 150 and Class 300.
- Materials: CuNi 90/10 or CuNi 70/30 wetted sections with ASTM A105 carbon steel outer flanges.
- Typical Applications: Seawater and cooling-water inlet/outlet connections on Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers and Industrial Water Cooling Systems, including transitions between CuNi piping and carbon-steel equipment nozzles.

FAQs About Gelan Flanges Supply
1. What information is required to obtain an accurate flange quotation?
Please provide the flange type, size, pressure rating, material grade, applicable standard, facing type, quantity and required delivery destination. For welding neck flanges, please also specify the pipe schedule or wall thickness. Any inspection, testing, certification or documentation requirements should be stated in the RFQ. If available, you may simply send us your detailed BOM, drawings, datasheets or project specifications for technical review and quotation.
2. Can you manufacture flanges with non-standard outside diameters or thicknesses?
Yes. Gelan can supply flanges with non-standard outside diameters, thicknesses, bores, drilling arrangements and other customized dimensions. Please provide a detailed drawing or complete dimensional requirements with your RFQ.
3. Can you supply RF, FF and RTJ flange faces?
Yes. Raised Face (RF) and Flat Face (FF) flanges are available. Ring Type Joint (RTJ) faces are subject to technical confirmation based on the applicable standard, pressure class, material grade and customer drawing or project specification.
4. Are the flanges supplied as forged, cast or plate-cut products?
Most industrial piping flanges are supplied as forged products. Cast or plate-cut flanges may also be available, subject to confirmation based on the applicable standard, material grade, pressure rating, dimensions and service conditions.
5. What is the construction method used for composite flanges?
Composite flanges combine a CuNi 90/10 or CuNi 70/30 wetted section with an ASTM A105 carbon-steel outer or backing flange. Depending on the required connection, they are available in composite weld neck, slip-on and blind configurations.
6. Can flanges, mating flanges, gaskets, studs, bolts and nuts be supplied as one package?
Yes. Gelan can supply flanges together with compatible mating flanges, gaskets, studs, bolts, nuts and related components as one package.
