A French client team recently visited Gelan’s manufacturing facility to review progress on a waste heat recovery project for a hydrogen production facility in Saudi Arabia.
Gelan is supplying waste heat boiler tube bundles for the project. The design drawings have been completed, and fabrication is now underway.
During the visit, the client team toured Gelan’s workshop and reviewed the manufacturing facilities involved in the project. The visit was followed by a project meeting with Gelan’s engineering and production teams.
Discussions focused on the design and fabrication details of the tube bundles, including manufacturing requirements, production coordination, and quality considerations for the next stages of fabrication.
Bringing the client, engineering team, and manufacturing team together at this stage allowed outstanding technical points to be reviewed directly before production progressed further.
The tube bundles are being manufactured at Gelan’s facility for use in the waste heat recovery section of a hydrogen production plant in Saudi Arabia.
Gelan will continue fabrication and inspection in accordance with the approved project requirements as the project moves toward completion.
