Gelan, in cooperation with SPEC, has shipped 70 custom pressure vessels in three batches for a refinery project in Kyrgyzstan. The project value is approximately USD 1.32 million.
The supply covers multiple types of custom pressure vessels used across different refinery process sections, with project-specific configurations, materials, and fabrication requirements.

The equipment package includes Feed Surge Drums, Flash Drums, Compressor Suction Drums, Separators, Stripper Receivers, Naphtha Splitter Receivers, Catalyst Storage Hoppers, and other process vessels for different refinery services.
Selected vessels use clad-plate construction, with a 3 mm stainless-steel layer on the process-contact side and SA-516 Gr.70 carbon steel as the structural base material. The combination provides a corrosion-resistant wetted surface together with the required pressure-bearing performance.
Relevant nozzles and flanges also incorporate stainless-steel weld overlay to maintain corrosion-resistant coverage through the vessel connection areas. After fabrication, the internal stainless-steel surfaces were pickled to remove welding oxides and surface contamination and restore a clean surface condition.
The 70 pressure vessels have now been dispatched to Kyrgyzstan in three coordinated shipments, adding another multi-equipment refinery project to Gelan’s international pressure vessel delivery experience.
